Need Food?

The Pantry is here so hungry families can get food in emergency situations. As with any large-scale operation, there must be rules in place to avoid abuse. We have established the following guidelines:

  1. Assistance is available once per month for each family
  2. The family must declare their income (including food stamps, WIC income, and HUD housing support) and only those with incomes that are in line with the Texas Commodity Assistance Program will be eligible, except in emergency situations. A copy of the Texas Commodity Assistance Program is in each interview room
  3. A picture ID from the head of each household (each family receiving food) is required for identification purposes
